    Disclaimer: Nostalgia is a difficult beast to separate from food ratings.

    This is a hometown favorite, and I eat here at least once every visit home.
    We started out with the cheese crisp, and it always lives up to its name...greasy, crunchy, and most of all CHEESY!!
    I ordered the tostada value meal which is two crispy tostadas mounded with all the toppings and includes a drink and beans & rice. The tostada piled high with seasoned ground beef and refried beans. It is always delicious, though not very authentic.
    My wife ordered an enchilada and a tostada. The tostada was just like mine and delicious, but she was disappointed by the enchilada which was made with flour tortilla and rather flavorless.
    This is one my favorite joints so it was on the list before there ever was a list...Bravo Rudys, keep it kickin and I'll visit every time I'm back in the area!!

    The two times I've eaten here I get the impression the staff just doesn't want you to be there, completely bland, blah customer service. The food itself is, by far, the worst Rudy's in the QCA. Cafeteria lunchroom-style flavor. If you must visit a Rudy's, the Elmore location is infinitely better, better food, better customer service.

    Rudy's Tacos is a good place to get some tasty Mexican food. It offers a great selection of food and drinks.  I love getting their beef enchiladas and cheese fries. It does make the perfect combination.

    We ordered food to go around 8pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered chips and guacamole to go in addition to our meals. I watched them pour guacamole from a purchased container into a white To-go container. EXTREMELY disappointed. Tacos were supposed to be street tacos and they just had cheese and lettuce. We will never be going back.

    Their food isn't prepared fresh when ordered, they smother it with cheese and throw it in the microwave. Wasn't very appetizing at all. Definitely not the best Mexican restaurant I've been to.
